Understanding that Sickle Cell Disease is most prevalent among individuals of African American descent, God’s Love We Deliver seeks to improve every eligible individual’s quality of life with access to well-balanced, antioxidant-rich meals that include a wide variety of nutrients including protein, calcium, and zinc, and reduce the Health-Related Social Need (HRSN) disparity in underserved areas, without regard to income. Our meals can reduce oxidative stress and ease the nutritional deficiencies that people with Sickle Cell Disease face. Our meals also provide calories to promote weight gain and growth in children with the disease.
