Hello birthing community, my name is Ropani. I am a doula here in New York City and I have been serving mothers and families for about two years. Being a part of this community has brought me and the lives of the families I have served so much joy. I enjoy that I get to be my nurturing, empathetic and caring self in this field. I treat my clients as my friend or sister which makes my job so much easier because I am able to fully devote my work into the mothers and families making sure they feel, heard, seen and valued. 

I went through the journey of becoming a doula through some personal challenges I experienced throughout my pregnancy, labor and postpartum. Being able to give back, educate, support, care and nurture to expecting mothers is what fuels my passion every day and I enjoy that I am able to share that spirit with all of you. 

The services I provide range from prenatal care, labor and postpartum care. I also offer guidance and support with mental health, emotional support, spiritual, nutrition, yoga and breastfeeding. 

My goal is to ensure that mothers feel empowered in the choices they are making. I offer birth plans that I work on with clients and although not all plans go according, I help families understand the birth plan is so that they are aware of the options that they have and the knowledge they can retain so that they can make the best decisions for themselves.
