About the Provider

I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and doctor of nursing practice. I graduated from New York University with my bachelor’s degree in psychology and child and adolescent mental health studies. I then completed my MSN at Columbia University and worked as a pediatric RN and PMHNP intern at a health and social services agency in New York City. There I worked with families involved in the foster care system and served as an advocate for parents of color.

I completed clinical training in reproductive psychiatry with Rebecca Feldman, while completing my doctoral studies. Currently, I teach Developmental Psychology as an adjunct professor at Columbia. I also co-created and co-facilitate a weekly support group for Black/Latinx parents. I am dedicated to mental health equity for parents overall, however, I recognize the major gaps and worries uniquely impacting parents of color. I am here to listen and help you along your journey. I accept patients for both psychotherapy and medication management. I am in network with United, Oxford, Oscar, Aetna and Cigna.
