My name is Dani! I'm originally from the Bronx, New York but currently reside in New Haven, CT. I am a wife and mother of three amazing children, all of whom I've breastfed. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I am currently in private practice and recently was hired as a per diem Certified Lactation Consultant at Manchester Memorial Hospital.

For the past three years I have assisted hundreds of families in the under-served community of New Haven, helping them to reach their breast/chest feeding goals. After having breastfed my own children, I was recruited to work as a WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor in November 2018. I was able to see the value of my role considering that I had no help of my own when breastfeeding my children. Being exposed to the lack of support available to African American moms was a huge motivating factor for me starting my practice. My work focuses on providing access to quality breastfeeding education and individualized support specific to your situation. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to improve the overall care of my clients.

I provide prenatal breastfeeding classes/consults and postpartum support virtually and in-home. I service all of New Haven, Fairfield, Hartford, and Middlesex Counties in CT and Westchester County in NY for home visits.
