I am the the co-founder of Rooted LLC. I am an Oakland native currently rooted in Harlem.

My praxis and scope of work lie within the intersections of the individual and opportunities for growth, development, and restoration. I am a practicing clinical therapist and full-spectrum doula who is committed to dismantling the stigma within mental health treatment and providing empowering health services for individuals to identify their personal liberation toward healing. I have over 7 years of community-centered experience, focusing on mental wellness and social advocacy. My work experience includes a range of client populations and systems including childhood through geriatrics, community-based programs, and federal agencies, pervasive mental health concerns, substance abuse, IPV, and LGBTQI+. My approach is person-centered while honoring and holding space to deconstruct the external forces that impact one’s sense of self and wellness.

I received my MSW from New York University and my B.A. from San Francisco State University. I look to support individuals and communities to reconnect with themselves by empowering their agency, autonomy, and voice. My organization, Rooted LLC, provides culturally responsive care that is centered on honoring the power of folks' lived experiences and personal narratives within health care services.
